Description
The Rasper Impact Table is constructed with robust supports manufactured in resistant carbon steel beams and damping bars that protect the belt against potential damage caused by load impact, preventing side spillage and replacing impact rollers.
Provides greater safety and belt durability with high operational efficiency.
Applications of Impact Table:
Can be applied in various types of industries: Mining, Steel, Cement, Foundry, Ports, Fertilizers, Paper and Pulp, Sugar Mills, etc.
Advantages::
- The impact bar surfaces are made of high-density polyurethane with low friction coefficient
- Impact damping is provided by a layer of polyurethane with 60 shore A hardness
- Replacement of impact bars is facilitated by the design that allows leveling the sides during replacement
- Versatile design that allows adjustment of the table angle
Impact Table Installation
General Considerations
Before installing the impact table, some checks must be performed on the conveyor to assess belt and drum conditions.
- Belt - Before installing the impact table, immediately stop or interrupt the operation of the conveyor belt where the impact table will be installed
- Structure - Check if the structure is damaged or misaligned. If the structure is damaged or misaligned, do not install the impact table to prevent damage to it
1. Beam installation:
- Install the table beams on the structure, if necessary, loosen the arm bolts to lower the sides
- It is important that the beams are perpendicular to the conveyor structure, as any deviation will cause belt misalignment
- It is necessary to install supports with impact rollers before and after each impact table, as shown in figure 2. With a distance "D" of 190mm
- The impact table should not fully touch the belt to avoid friction between them causing bar wear, it is recommended to leave a distance "B" of 10mm to 15mm between the impact table and the belt, as shown in figure 3
- After equipment assembly, it is extremely important to check if all bolts are properly tightened
2. Impact Bar Replacement
- After wear of the white PU surface of the impact bars, it is necessary to replace them
- Loosen the bar fixing system and pull as shown in figure 4
- Remove all impact bars
- Fit the new impact bars into the fixing system
- Retighten the nuts of the fixing system
- Ensure all nuts and bolts are properly tightened
